The user creates an alias email address that is used as the organization-wide email address in the Salesforce. The alias email address can be from a third-party email service such as Hotmail.com, Gmail.com, and so forth. The alias email address is created to check the verification code from the Salesforce Org logs to verify the newly created address. For example, reply-support@gmail.com.
